Harvey Histories: Kaysville Kinks

The February 4, 1898 edition of the Davis County Clipper included in its column, Kaysville Kinks, the following:

"James Harvey and Miss Mary Bosworth were married on Wednesday."

Introduction

This site is dedicated to the descendants of James Smuin Harvey and Mary Bosworth Harvey. Most of the information I have has been gathered by my mother, who is a grand daughter of James and Mary, through their son Brigham.

James Smuin Harvey was born 1 Nov 1858, in London, England. Mary Bosworth Harvey was born 20 May 1871, in Kaysville, Utah. Their children are Mary, Ray, Brigham, Alpheus, Ruth, Glen, Dorritt and James.

My hope is that their descendants will use this site to help each of us to better get to know our ancestors in the Harvey, Bosworth, Smuin and other related lines. I was once told, by a genealogist, that although we would see many uses for the computer, its real purpose was for aiding in genealogy. My how it has! Not only can we keep pedigrees straight, the internet is a source of information that puts "flesh on the bones" of these predecessors of ours.

Since we all have our own information and experiences with ancestors, limited or abundant, I hope you will share them here, offer corrections or fill in blanks as we go along.
